Three types of Chinese titanium alloy
As an indispensable part of structural alloys, titanium alloys continue to benefit humanity in all fields.
Up to now, the annual output of titanium alloys in the world has reached more than 40,000 tons. All countries in the world are constantly researching and developing various uses of titanium alloys, and are committed to enter the civil industrial field with huge market potential.
Titanium alloys have three kinds of matrix structures (titanium alloy structures with different structures), and titanium alloys are classified into the following three categories: α alloys, (α+β) alloys and β alloys, which are represented by TA, TC, and TB, respectively.
α titanium alloy - TA
Single-phase alloy (consisting of an alloy), whether at normal temperature or at a higher temperature, has stable structure and strong oxidation resistance. Its strength and creep resistance are maintained at temperatures between 500 ° C and 600 ° C.
β titanium alloy - TC
Single-phase alloy (composed of an alloy) has high strength. After quenching and aging, the alloy is further strengthened, but the thermal stability is poor, and it is not suitable for use at high temperatures.
α+βtitanium alloy - TB
It is a two-phase alloy (composed of two alloys), has good comprehensive properties, good structural stability, good toughness, plasticity and high temperature deformation properties, can be well subjected to hot pressure processing, can be quenched and aging Alloy strengthening. Its thermal stability is inferior to that of α-titanium alloy.
Titanium alloys can be classified into heat-resistant alloys, high-strength alloys, corrosion-resistant alloys (titanium-molybdenum, titanium-palladium alloys, etc.), low-temperature alloys, and special functional alloys (titanium-iron hydrogen storage materials and titanium-nickel memory alloys).
